Rahamim Ron  
 

Certified as a Pilates Master in 1983, by the renowned Alan Herdman Studio in London, Rahamim Ron brings to Pilates his extensive body of body knowledge acquired over 40 years’ experience as a dance artist and dance educator in major companies and academies throughout the world.  He has taught Pilates internationally in studios and institutions of higher education (including the University of Lund, Sweden), and has directed Pilates studios in several countries.  Since 2005 he has resided in Orange County.

A former soloist with the legendary Martha Graham and her New York company, he was also a founding member of the Batsheva Dance Company, which was established by Ms. Graham in 1963.  He has won numerous awards for his dance artistry, choreography and contributions to the advancement of dance pedagogy, and holds an M.A. in Dance Education. 

Rahamim Ron incorporates a broad range of body disciplines into his work with clients today.  His method is informed by his work with Romana Kryzanowska, principle disciple of Joseph H. Pilates in New York; by his studies of Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais Method (with Moshe Feldenkrais); and by his decades of first-hand experience with the greatest dance pioneers in modern history, including Martha Graham, Jerome Robbins, José Limon and Donald McKayle.
